1. Be outgoing & take initiative.
2. Research your school and know what they're about.
3. Lead a sport or club to get your name out there & connect with community.
4. Make sure you know what ideas you want to implement and talk confidently about the plans you've made. 
5. Separate yourself from the crowd by having a comprehensive, and visually appealing portfolio. 
6. Be Yourself!!!
